Whenever I travel I just know that ,if the BOKS are playing, I'll pick it up on this station ( really guys, I don't normally listen to RSG😁).
And I've always supported them ( the BOKKE) when travelling ,in Greece,Spain,Austria,Thailand,Peru,USA..........but that's it!!!
Never again !
They don't deserve it and my patience is depleted.

How do you take a top 3 ranked rugby side and convert them ,in the space of a year into a bunch of no hopers.
Simple really,give them a kak coach with no real international credentials,add a fly half with a reputation for choking (remember when he played for STORMERS),take away a good defence coach, replace with another understudy ,bring in a total has-been fly half replacement and a couple of totally out of touch overseas players .
Stir and there you have it.......a bunch of total losers.
Pathetic and that's it.......you've lost a supporter.
Anyway I digress.
I head out to get a couple of penlight batteries for my beard trimmer (
I'd purchased new batteries before my trip but realised at some point that my bag had been vibrating all the way across/ the on switch had somehow activated😂)
So I track down a couple of replacement batteries and think.......sure I saw a "BAR" sign somewhere in this vicinity?
As mentioned, beers are pretty scarce in a predominantly Hindu/ Muslim environment.
So I procure the batteries and see this hotel with a "restaurant bar" advertised outside.
Look inside but all I'm seeing is this very dark room,with not a single $@@$&@ing light on, with what appear to be a bunch of male diners ( no bar)
But now I'm pretty bloody desperate so I go into the " restaurant" and,after adjusting to the complete lack of any light whatsoever,realise that these patrons aren't eating.
In fact they've got armies of quart bottles lined up from a serious bit of drinking.
Aaaaah!!!!
....... finally I've found a home for the balance of my trip.
And a bit of 20 over cricket to watch as an added extra!!!🍺👍👌
Who needs FIREMANS??
