AROUND PUSHKAR

I walked this place flat this afternoon to find a place to have a beer!

But it appears that PUSHKAR is a "full on" sacred town which allows no drinking of alcohol whatsoever, within a 2500 km radius???

Whatever happened to " live and let live"?

I mean us alcoholics don't ban fruit juice and smoothies?

Walked PUSHKAR flat and eventually came across these okes who happily set off with 200 rupees and appeared 5 minutes later with an "extra strong" ( 8 percent) quart of Kingfisher, along with a little bottle of extra strong liqueur for themselves.

We enjoyed a sundowner together and discussed world politics 🤑
