Made our way on the tram and metro to the Istanbul otogar and departed 6pm on the overnight bus to Antalya.
Pretty comfy trip with multiple stops to pick up passengers en route,....stop for refreshments,....and even a bowl of traditional lentil soup at around 2am.
Arrived Antalya 6am,....still dark but we managed to catch a dolmus immediately to a deserted city centre and walked the 1km or so through empty streets to the old city,....Kaleici.
Of course our room was still occupied so, after a quick change, we made our way to our local bakery here for a few of themost delicious,freshly baked delicasies, a lire of virtually frozen water,and a couple of ice cold beers,....then made our way to our usual piece of paradise where one descends steps into 10m deep ,28 degreesC water.
2 recliners and an umbrella for the day at a cost of R140 for We're about to go out for a bite,....the temp presently a balmy 25 degrees C.
