Temp has been around the mid 30's since we arrived, and we've seen all the sights on previous trips to antalya, so there's only one place to be from just after breakfast till around 2:30pm,.....that's at our favourite "beach" here which is not so much a beach as a large concrete landing at the bottom of a cliff face ,converted to a restaurant.
Multiple loungers and umbrellas are available at a mere R70 per person and one descends a small stairway,.....directly into 5m deep azure clear aegean water ,presently at around 28 degrees C
Last night we went into town and had an early dinner with the locals right alongside the main road in town.
An awesome authentic meal at a cost of R 130 for the two of us,....although we'd ordered far too much and had to take a doggy bag for the pide (turkish pizza).
Followed by a stroll along the main drag ,down to the old roman tower situated in the town on top of a cliff face, and presently an archaeologic dig situated smack in the middle of the old town.
And finally a beer along the main thouroghfare comprising restaurants, pubs and boutique stores.
