Had our 1st bit of rain last night but we needed to eat so I did a bit of research and discovered this little gem of a restaurant , located around 1km away. We walked,with our recently acquired polka dot macs, and had yet another awesome Vietnamese meal of shrimp spring rolls and Banh Xeo,...a crispy turmeric infused pancake filled with shrimp and grilled pork.
It comes with a pile of square rice paper wrappings.
The idea is to wrap pieces of the "pancake" ,together with the herbs,green papaya and cucumber into a tight "tube" in the rice paper,and then to dip into the fish/peanut sauce as one devours the tube.
All of that, plus 2 ice cold Saigon beers,....R150 😆
