R250 each on a very comfy and spacious merc bus got us to our destination at around 3:30pm after countless stops to pick up passengers en route,to eat,and carry out the other stuff 😜.
Temperature at 36 degrees on arrival, where we were picked up by our hotel proprietor then ,after a shower, walked the couple of hundred metres across to the center of the village for a delicious meal of meatballs and salad.
Selcuk is a quaint little town located just 2 km from the most amazing Roman ruins of EPHESUS.
We've been there three times already over the past twenty years ,but it's a "live" dig which has been ongoing for the best part of 100 years or longer and is constantly expanding to reveal further historic treasures.
